Working regularly in Vienna since 1980 enabled me to view many originals and turning from Australian inspiration I developed my designs from these seductive works. My sketch books contain designs based on over thirty of Klimt\u2019s paintings. Prime inspiration has come from the <i>Beethoven Frieze <\/i>in the Secession building in Vienna, and the well-known paintings and mosaics with multicoloured gold such as <i>The Kiss, Expectation, Fulfilment <\/i>and <i>Adele Bloch-Bauer<\/i>. The landscape \u2013 Kirche in Cassone also inspired a number of works, as did Klimt\u2019s allegories of&nbsp; Sculpture, Music and Truth.
